Social Skills at OFS

The development of social skills (Pragmatics) is an integral part of each child’s program at OFS. The speech language pathologist teaches classes in social skills, during which each skill is broken down into specific steps. The social skills are practiced in that class and then enforced by teachers and other staff throughout the school. Frequent collaboration between the speech language pathologist and teachers ensures that each child’s social skills needs are addressed.
