Community Service

Students attending Orchard Friends School participate in many service projects. Students, with teacher guidance, select a service projects. We have partnered with Alex’s Lemonade Stand, paticipated in the Walk for Autism, and adopted a zoo animal for care. Each year the projects are different and reflect the interests of our students and staff. Past service projects have included:

• Community beautification
  
• Fighting hunger
  
• Lending a hand to senior friends
  
• Holding a recycling contest
  
• Adopting a grand-friend
  
• Trimming a mitten tree
  
• Gift baskets for the homeless
  
• Preparing meals at Ronald McDonald House
